Yesterday afternoon I started to get strange pain in the left side of my neck, just below my skull that turned into a tension pain. I hadn't eaten for a good 5 hours and think that my hunger had something to do with it? Has anyone had this? It's not too bad now but still there when I move it. Also may have had something to do with the weather as it was quite warm here yesterday. Have read a little on it on the internet, it could be hormone-related? If anyone else has had it, could you tell me if you could take or use anything for it?
Thanks for any help!
well if its hunger eat something and find out lol
i dunno what it could be sorry hun.
take some pain killers or ring the doctors.
sorry i couldnt be any help
It could definitely be hunger hun or hormones. Headaches are very common in the early stages of pregnancy as everything your body accepts as normal is starting to change. Your hormone levels rise and fall in different amounts for different hormones so it can take a while for your body to adjust. It may not be related to the pregnancy at all though hun. Could you have slept funny? I have done that on many an occasion and it takes a couple of days to go back to normal. I would take some paracetamol (which is safe in pregnancy) if it gwts really bad and if it hasn't gone in a couple of days see your gp and see what he suggests.

Xx
I had head aches with George and migranes, it was tiredness really with me though. Hope it doesn't last too long x
I was ok by sun afternoon, hadn't had it after I woke up on sat so wasn't way I had slept- I think it was something to do with where I hadn't eaten for a while and it had just had some kind of effect on me. It has only happened this once.
