Time off work in 1st trimester

Hi

I've been off sick with bad morning sickness for the last week although only vomited a few times. Just feel so nauseous 24/7 that I always feel on the verge and it's really getting me down. Can't stomach anything healthy or nutritious so taking pregnacare but still feel weak and dizzy due to lack of proper food. Anyway I'm just worried about taking time off already and although my boss knows, I think she may not really be sympathetic and thinks I should be in work and just getting through it.
Anyone else feel so bad they can't make it in? I live in London so the hour tube journey is unbearable too.

Thanks

I felt abit like this with my first pregnancy. I was sick up to 4 times a day during the first trimester. I worked in a Care home so the people couldn't leave the shift before until I came on duty and there were days when I'd ring up just before I was due in saying I was still being sick and I'd get in as soon as I could. I felt really bad about it but just couldn't help it, I couldn't exactly walk down the road chucking up in peoples bushes! Then when I was at work I couldn't stand the heat, the smells, etc and I felt guilty having to leave some tasks to my work mates because I just couldn't do them. It did pass at about 3 months and my appetite came back as normal too, so hopefully you will feel better soon.
