it tastes vile!!...i used it along with every other method going so i dont actually know if it works!

You have to drink it regually for a while for it to work.

Plus make sure you get rasberry leaf tea not just rasberry tea. You will need to go to a proper health food shop as they dont sell it at supermarkets!

good luck, if it works let us know! Very happy

Hi

I used it on my first pregnancy, tasted vile and not sure it it worked or not? Had quite a long painful labour but I dont know what it would have been like if I had not drank it?

you can get it in capsules...i had these second preg as couldn't stand the stuff.

my (limited) understanding is that it dosn't really bring on labour but it makes the contractions more effective...so they say.

My DD was born in 70minutes so something certainly did the trick, but i guess you never know what it was.

Raspberry leaf tea is available from health food shops hun im sure they would do the capsules too (places like Holland and barrett, Julian Graves)
Its only supposed to soften the bones up and prepare your body ready for labours hun - things like curry/spciy food, fresh pineapple and good old s e x is supposed to help speed up labour lol!

my mother swears by this
1 a mega hot bath
2 a red hot curry
and then my fav
3 a wonseful session in bed with ur loved one

i tried the firest too but was as big as a house my DP wouldnt give me the last lol
apparently sperm containd progesterone (cant spell) which is found in the stuff they give u to bring on labour so this if u can manage it might be effective
good luck hun hope the bubba comes out soon cos i wanna see a pic lol

The only problem with me now is that i can barely move, talkless of having sex:) God i'm in a miserable shape:) I'm trying to watch out for contractions but nothing yet...I do get braxton hicks! When I called the hospital they told me that I'm getting ready for labour and that my pelvis is rubbing....I really do not know the meaning of this! I've been eating curry and chilli but it looks like my body is used to it!!! I'll try holland and barrett maybe...who knows! Do you think I should ask my midwife about it??

hi angie

i just got them at my local health food shop. Like sugar suggests i'd try some other options. i did lots of walking...so if you feel up to that i'd try that and from what i've heard sex is one of the most effective ways!

Hope things start to happen for you soon, i was in slow labour for a week before abigail was born - not painful just kept getting contractions every evening then when my waters went she flew out! lol
