Today, due to severe back pain, I went to see the doctor. She checked baby and says she believes she is transverse. She used the doppler thing on my tum and whilst you could hear the heartbeat low down, you could hear it very loudly above and to the right of my tummy button
I said that surely that didn't matter too much as it was my second baby and I've read they don't often move down and engage until almost labour started but she said she should be head down by next week and if she's not they will scan me to check! Hang on a moment... is that necessary?
I have to confess that I trust the midwives more than this particular doctor but just wondered if others have had a similar thing.
Of course, it's just given me something to worry about for no reason
