Candra draws soooooooo much in a day, I can't possibly keep all her pictures. Plus, she'll be comming home withschool project masterpieces. I already have a folder box bursting at the seams, That I've had to organize several times. Any suggestions?

I know what you mean...I've millions of pics by Charlotte I just don't have the heart to throw away! i keep meaning to sort throught them and be ruthless, keeping some and putting them in a folder. I thought we could go recycling with her other pictures and try and explain that her old pics will make new paper for her to draw more on lol.

i would keep the best ones and file them tactfully bin the rest, you can always keep a file for each month of the year and then when it gets to the end of the year, keep 1 for each month.

I have abox full of stuff, but a little of each

I have to confess to keeping everything Jas does still to this day. I have boxes of her drawings, writing, school books, etc in the loft and couldn't bear to part with any of them. We've even gone through them together and she loves looking at how her writing has got better, etc.

I can see another ton of boxes needed when I have this little one too Very happy

Yeah, I know, I'm a total softie Smile

I'm not a good one for advise on this either... I have a hard time throwing anything away that Aaralyn has made although I have gotten a bit better about it... I'm going through this now as I'm packing up and have tons of stuff from over the last 9 months of living here, tons!! I have 2 boxes full of art work so far that I can't part with Wink Love and I'm not done going through it all yet Confused

I do keep a lot of stuff too. I have all birthday cards, as well as lots of drawings. But my DF won't let me keep all of it and i do think he is right really. We live in a small 2 bedroom bungalow (trying to get extension sorted) and there just isn't room to keep all Lolly's pics/ cereal box models etc. I have kept as many as i can get away with and have some lovely hand and footprint ones, which we do twice a year to see how much they have grown. Other than that i have to throw them out. Or i do also give drawings to nanny and other family members etc because i know they will cherish them. I do think the recycling idea is great though. When they get old enough to understand their pics will make more paper to draw on. Great idea! Very happy Xx
