and they want to put my little baby to sleep and put cameras down his throat to find out why he makes the rattle when he is breathing. Crying

The registrar I saw today was really good, asked lots of questions then gave Joseph a very good examination she then explained what they were going to do. She said if he did have the floopy voice box (the diagnosis I was given 4 years ago) he would have out grown it by now so there must be another reason why he is noisy. Im gload she agreed with me that he doesnt need inhalers because I was worried that they would give him them. I now have to wait for a date for him for day clinic.

Awww, hun, I know that seems so scary for you Kiss

When Aaralyn was 3 she had to have a cat scan done to check her lungs because she had pnemonia multiple times. They had to knock her out so that she would be still for the scan and there's nothing worse than seeing your child go limp after a shot (I'm tearing up right now just typing about it) but she got through it ok. I'm just being honest with you about it to let you know it will be much harder for you than for Joseph, not to make you feel worse Sad Face

I'm glad it's not asthma or something that will require him being on inhalers long term... keep us updated!

I think you are right it is more of a worry for me than him. Mum has already said that when he has to go in she will take the day off work aswell. I hope the date comes through soon as I dont want it to drag on forever.

Awww hun you will be scared and worried just try to keep it together whilst around Alexas you dont want to scare him. Also if he gets worried try using a doll or teddy to show him what the doctors are going to do to prepare him

I dont think he really understood what the doctor was saying. I will wait until I get his appointment through and then have a chat with him

Such a worrying time, but i'm sure all will turn out just fine Very happy. As tammy said i think it is much worse for the parents as the children don't really understand or know what to expect. I hope you aren't left hanging on for an appointment hun, hopefully one will wing it's way to you shortly Kiss Xx
