Elise has been going to school since jan now, just after she turned 3 on new years eve and loving it, but the other week she had 2 weeks off, one week was for half tearm and the other was because she was ill, but all this week shes been crying not wanting to go, saying "i want to be with you mummy" its breaking my heart letting her go crying into school, i spoke to the teacher to day and she said that even when shes calmed down shes still asking for me and asking the teacher to phone me to pick her up!

i dont know how to make her understand that she has to go to school and mummy is always going to be there to pick her up, i have never been late picking her up, so its not that. its just hurting me seening her like this!

anyone had the same problem? how did you solve it?

sorry for such a long post!

Aww hon, its really hard, but i think you just have to stick at it, and she will get back into the routine of going to school etc.....I think all kids go through something like this at one point of another, and theres nothing you can do really since she has to go. As long as you and the teacher talk to eachother, and shes praised for having a good day and being a big girl i can't see anything else you can do, apart from grit your teeth and hope she gets through this phase quickly Kiss

ffion, maybe shes still tired from being ill and thats adding to her crying etc.....when mine feel tired they are SOOOOO whingy and they are a lot older than Elise......i suppose shes too big for a pushchair? if shes tired when she gets there shes bound to be more upset, if she is too big for a pushchair, what about a small bike that you could help push or something....

It is hard hon, I remember it well......once she settles back into routine as i said, and once shes back to 100% in herself after her illness she might be a lot better

Im here is you need to rant honey Smile Kiss
