We did it!! (positive test result-17/8/08)

Did test this morning and we are expecting! Still sinking in for both of us, going to clinic for another test on Tuesday then going to tell Jer's mum and sisters in person Tues night... Jer's mum has been asking us every month since May if we had any news for her- now we have!!

Worked out baby#3's due date as 29th April, just under 4 weeks after James turns 12!

Thank you! I feel all giddy! Was discussing scans with Jer earlier and he wants to wait 'til the baby is born to find out whether we are having a boy or girl- he reckons we will have a boy though as in all the dreams he has had about a baby, it's been a boy! I suppose I would like the surprise too, as I already have 1 of each... don't know if I would still want to keep it a surprise by the time the 20 week scan comes around though!

Thanks girls! Feeling a bit tired today- bit of a headache too, I got that a lot with James during the first 3 months. It's all good tho, part and parcel of what is a happy time regardless of how it affects you physically!

James is 12 at the start of April so we'll have 2 birthdays in a month! When in April is your little one due? xx

5th April. Really hope it doesnt end up being the 1st!!!!! But as long as he/she is healthy i dont care! Just got a scan date which is very exciting. you made an appointment with midwife?

Oh I know, I was the same on James- he was due 31st March! Would have been funny tho as I was born on Hallowe'en and his dad was born on friday 13th!! My friend's birthday is the day after this one is due- she was saying it would be lush if the baby was born then but I doubt they wil let me go over as I had 2 c-sections.

I have my 1st appointment with MW on 3rd Sept.
