Harrison has been on solids since he was 5 months and 1 week old as his appetite was huge and a big boy.

He took to solids well and polsihing anything off, but all of a sudden he has gone fussy and almost not happy about having solids Unsure

2 weeks ago i have tried mashed foods, or stage 2 on jars like it suggests. Initially he took it well but i think its the slight lumps. So gone back to very runny.

With not doing this before just wondered is this normal? Do they get fussy or is just over 7 months to early for stage 2?

Any help would be fab

It just depends hun, Charlotte weaned so easily. but George took a little longer, he prefered to go straight onto the finger foods and feed himself. he didn't like mashed food for ages.

I do think it depends on them individually hun. Lolly didn't like lumpy food for ages. But i think some of it may have been her sensing my nervousness. I was sooo worried she was going to choke iwas a nervous wreck when i started to introduce lumpier food. Jake is just coming up 7mths soon, so will be trying him shortly with lumpier food. He loves his purees so am hoping he takes to it easier than his sister? Maybe some of Harrisons problem is that he has been a bit off volour recently? He may not feel like trying new things at the moment. I always no when lolly is starting to feel poorly because she just stops eating altogether. Jake is the same. Maybe once he is over his ear infection and cold he may be more ready to try different things? Hope the little man is feeling a tad better today Xx
