god I have lost more weight

I was ill a couple of weeks ago and have lost more weight,am not happy as think I am way to skinny to start with,gonna have to put it back on which will take ages,my size 8 clothes are hanging off me and measured my waist and its only 25 inches,it gets me really down being to small as dont feel womanly and my bust has shrunk,need to get my curves back,does any one else have this problem?

It's always difficult to tell from photos but your picture from the netmumms night out didn't have you looking too skinny. There are plenty of girls out there that would prefer to be in your situation than trying to lose weight. At the end of the day if you're naturally slim and are eating a good healthy diet then there's nothing to worry about.

Perhaps we can do some sort of fat transferrance, as I could do with losing a few pounds and am really struggling to do that. LOL! Alternatively try this diet which worked to put weight on me when I started my IT career.

Have breakfast at home (bowl of cereal).
Have breakfast at the office as well (long roll with sausages and ketchup)
Have lunch at the office (sandwich, pasty and cream cake) or go to the pub for lunch (beer plus pub lunch)
Have dinner at home and always have dessert. Usually says for 4 but split between 2.
Alongside this drink lots of fizzy, non-diet drinks and enjoy 5-15 pints on a night out.
Do absolutely no exercise (except sexercise).

Hey presto a 3 stone beer gut appears!!!

12 months in to a new healthy eating regime, very little alcohol, 3 trips to the gym a week and prepartion to cycle Lands End to John O'Groats and all I've lost is about 6 lbs.

Owen its sound like its probably all turned to muscle LOL!

JOJO, some people are just made to be skinny, like Owen said, just keep eating a healthy diet.

oh thanks but not aiming for a beer gut LOL,well that pic is about a months ols so like I said lost lots since then,I am slim as have always been but am the only one in my family that is LOL,I am only 5,1 and weigh about 7-7 and a half stone which is considered healthy,only have size 3 feet as well,am the same proportions as kylie can you believe,

theres lots of info out there on losing weight but not alot out there on gaining weight healthly

maybe you could stock up on some oily fish, olives and avacado - all those healthy fatty foods

try and eat some sardines on toast for lunch - snack on stuffed olives, or add olives and avacado to any salads you have

drinking fruit juice everyday is a good way to get some extra cals in you in a healthy way

also theres some sort of nourishment drink you can get

its like a milkshake with lots of vitimins and protein etc etc in it

maybe you could ask your pharmacist about weather they would be suitable for you

if you could get a couple of these down a day maybe it would hold your weight steady

thanks for that but have tried all those things before without success,sadly my weight is connected to my state of mind LOL when I am happy I eat and enjoy food and tend to keep my weight on when I am stressed and worried about stuff I just dont eat as well and at the moment I am really stressed as have a lot going on,think that classes me as a emotional eater

Normally stress tends to cause people to store fat around the waist, but if you don't eat when you're stressed then you have nothing to store. My problem is a high stress job and eating is not typically interuppted by this, except for the fact that I can frequently go without lunch because I am too busy to eat.

If you eat less when you're stressed then that's your answer, otherwise it would be worth speaking to the doctor to see if they can suggest anything.

think we just need to sell our shop,sell our house and get a new house with 3 bedrooms and a garden,oh and hubby needs a new job then I will be happy LOL

some people in my fmily suffer exactly the same - they are small any way (size 8 ) but with any stress they just cant eat and they go down in weight till a size 6 is loose on them

i hope the stress passes soon and you can feel a bit better soon

oh hun Hug

write down all the things that are stressing you - even if its something small and trivial

if its in your brain as a thing to do then write it down

order the list into priorities and get your partner to help blast through it

some things you wont be able to fix (like debt etc etc) but maybe you and your partner can talk about them and he can re-assure you a bit so you dont feel so pressured

I really dont know what to suggest, but i have the same problem but the other way round. I was on a diet a few weeks ago and i lost a stone but then i went on holiday it all went out the window, and hey presto i'm back to being what i was before and cannot for the life of me get back into it. Fingers crossed u can find a resolve to get the weight back on all the luck in the world with it hun xx

I was losing alot of weight too.but now I gained a few lbs..not sure if I am happy or not.I am not over weight at all.but want to stay at 125lbs LOL now 129 or so LOL....

I wish I could lose my weight already. 6 years later and still hoarding the pregnancy fat. Yes, thats what it is. fat. Extra pounds that my doctors told me to add on, on top of the real pregnancy weight. They thought i was too thin. Please. I was thin, but I was thin all my life. I had a fast metabolism and gaing any weight was just impossible. But I guess when I got pregnant my metabolism decided to up and leave me to go to my daughter. I was 5'4 1/2 and weighed the most at 112 lbs. I was still healthy and loved food and was always active. Now I'm around
130 lbs and got a bulging waist that just won't slim down.
