AM WORRIED LO HAS CHICKEN POX!!

OMG i just cant believe my luck!! Xav is nearly 6 months and yesterday he had a temp!! i just thought it was teething until tonight when i bathed him!! he has a light rash all over and most of the spots are raised!! am really worried as i am 9 weeks pg!!

I'd call you Dr or MW and see what they say hun... try not to worry, and as hard as it is, just try not to have a lot of contact with your LO who has the chicken pox... is your OH helpful when it comes to taking care of the little ones? maybe he can jump in and take over until you've spoken to your mw??

thanks hun...DH just came back from boots as nhs direct advised him to get them to take a look...they said it COULD be chickenpox!!! but the only way to tell is if in the morning it has got WORSE!!! yes DH is really good and does as much as he can while he is not working...only thing is Xav only lets me give him his night time bottle!! and i hate the thought of not being able to hug and kiss him!! oh well i will just have to wait until tomorrow...im really trying not to worry but i just cant help but feel negative...apparently before 12 weeks there is a 1% of side affects and from 13-20 weeks its 2% so im lucky i fall in the first category...will have some more news tom and hopefuly its GOOD!! wish me luck PLEASE!!!!!!!!! X X X

well looks like it was a false alarm..thank god!! woke up this morning and it seems to have gone down..just a few on his legs and couple on his face...when i press on them they dissapear so maybe it was a heat rash...so releaved x x x

Bless you, it is a worry all the time

Harrison on Sunday had a rash which was pink and raised all over him. He had a temperature slightly and was being sick too.

H is 7 months just gone, they hate the heat
