Isn't it a nighmare..

Names that is!

First time we've really discussed it today and it's mindnumbing.

I'm quite surprised with Mark as i said i like Ruby and he said he really liked it too . I know before he wasn't keen at all. But now i'm worried that it might be too popular??

Boys names are a nightmare. When having Georgia-Mae he was really keen on Gabriel and i hated it - although it has really grown on me. We wanted Willaim after his grandad but that is sooo popular now every pg thread i read veery other person wants william.

Our name for a boy first time around was Rossi - and guess what that is the only name we can agree on this time around. But what do you guys think?? (my parents are bikers and massive fans of Valentino Rossi and sat having lunch when pg with Georgie we heard it and fell in love with it, and it stuck. Seems it is still stuck too.

psssst what is number 6??? All lists i've seen are different.... lol!

Georgia-Mae knows i might be having a baby and as i seem to have a protruding bump already it's hardly unnoticeable.

So in the car on the way home from nursery she has just announced ''if you have me a sister i will call her Baby Freya...'' (hmmn quite nice - even though i have a colleague who's daughter is Freya)

So dad asked her what if mummy has a baby and it's a boy - NO SHE'S GETTING ME A SISTER..

Oh dear .......

I like both of those names too! You could change your mind a million times between now and then though right! Even when Aaralyn was a couple days old I had never heard of the name Aaralyn LOL, so ya never know what you might like for baba when he/she is born... took Aaralyn 5 days into her life before she was Aaralyn

I found it hard picking Joseph's name. My mum works in a school and every name I suggested she would think of a child at school and say no!!! (I know do this )

We probably will change our names a million times!

But we find boys names really difficult.

Mark isn't keen on Freya at all - but it has grown on me and isn't as common as Ruby although i love the name Ruby.

I really like Ruby, and also Coral????

i love the name rossi both me and my hubby are bike fans also and our boy due in 9 weeks is being named after Shane 'Shakey' Byrne. I also love Freya and Ruby :-).

I am surprised that most of you HAVE said you like Rossi!!!

Discussing names was fun! We chose Cassandra Lillian for our bundle of Joy. Cassandra I liked so that when she is older she can choose what derivative she wants cassie, sandy etc. Lillian is becase it was my nana's who paid for me to change by deepoll the first name I was christened with . If Cassandra was a boy she would have been Robin Theodore (hubby chose first one as he loves Batman and wanted Bruce or Wayne and I vetoed it ) Theodore is a family name bless. Having gone to school with twins who parents christened the Daisy and Donald and their surname was Duck. Please remember to check yournot setting your kids up for a nightmar through school as I know what it was like

Where i used to work i used to have two American Travel Agents who called me p regular one was Snow White and one was Mary Lamb....

A young lad at my college was called Aaaron(air-on) Hiscock!!!

And there wasa guy i knew called Ahmed Mischid (a med mee shed)

my twins names (meleah and teleah) were scrabble letters and so was alisa's middle name (lihra).

You pick out say 5 letters 2 vowels and 3 constents and play aroiund till you make up a name you like.

Lihra was copied as a first name for a friends lil girl but prior to that no other search engines no it

Ok, since we're on the subject now... Being in the service industry for many years I've seen alot of unusual names but these two beat them all.... Harry Rodcramer and Richard Head... I don't know about there, but here we have another name for Richard that rhymes with Rick and starts with D, now put that with the last name Head get what I mean?? LOL

I'm sure this can go unsaid but just in case you guys don't know this, we call a willy the thing that rhymes with Rick and starts with a D lol
