Indigestion and 'lump'

Ladies

I'm suffering rotten indigestion. Even a fizzy drink sets it off and I have acid reflux for hours afterwards.

I also have noticed after eating I get a 'lump' on the left hand side near my ribcage (which I presume is my stomach all pushed up!) which means I can't sleep on the left as it can feel so painful and full of pressure.

Has anyone else had this? I certainly don't recall it with Jas but that was 10 years ago and my memory may have faded a bit Embarassed

I'm not sure if I can take Rennie or such for the indigestion. I really must remember to check that with the midwife! Halo

I suffered really bad with both mine, with Charlotte things like cucumber would set it off, and george tomatoey foods set it off.

I know you can get gaviscon, go to the dr and he will give a prescription (and its free)!! xx

Hope it eases for you hun, I can totally sympathise Kiss

I had it really bad when I was pregs too... I don't remember what I was allowed to take but I know I couldn't take tums or rolaids (can't remember what is in them that's bad though).

I hope it eases up for you hun... the old wive's tale was true for me that heartburn meant you'd have a hairy baby... she was a very hairy baby LOL!
