Wasn't sure where to post this, bit odd really... Anyways
Had a 'family' bbq for my stepdads birthday on saturday at my mums house. My step sister Emma was there, me and my proper sister have never seen eye to eye with her (she's a bit stuck up!) not that we're 'common'(lol) by no means but a bit more down to earth, well it was very akward with her on saturday didn't talk to us and just giving evil eyes and stuff. It really upset me as i always try to make an effort! Just to make things worse we found out we were pregnant at the same time due within a week of each other, now she has a little bump and was talking to another girl(stepdads work mate) she was also pregnant and due the same time... it was awful hearing about forthcoming scans next wk and not sure whether to find out the sex of the baby. I should be joing in those conversations. Sad Face That was the last straw i couldn't control my emotions, i couldn't stop crying!! Iv not really cried like that since i was in the hospital with the mc. i really thought i was ok! Upset Upset

That's so understandable hun Kiss

Maybe you hadn't had a proper grieving before that and hearing all those things would surely upset anyone who's just gone through what you have.

I'm sorry hun, I'm sending lots of preggie wishes to you! Flower

God that must of been so hard for you. I dont know exactly how you feel but i am TTC #1 for 6 mths now and have had to witness my friend and sister in law get pregnant (v quickly or by mistake) and have their first scan - its been so hard to be happy for them when i feel it should be me! i know people like us find it difficult but i think it makes us stronger and more appreciative of the gift of a child. take care x Very happy

i dont think its unusual to feel jealous of others or upset they have what you want but i feel much better being there for others on this forum and being able to spk about my probs. i find it easier to talk to people i cant see. xx Very happy

Aw hun sorry to hear that, I hope you don't mind me saying this but maybe it was a little insensitive of your sister to talk about things like that to you Kiss

My mum lost 3 babies and she always said she never 'got over it' but just had to come to terms with it xx

Feeling a little better thanks ladies, DH has had a few days off work so we've had some nice family time, cheered me up loads.
