have you tried asking at the chemists.
My two have just had it and thankfully the spots never bothered them - was sooo lucky.
I was advised though that there is a cream you can get which sooths and helps to prevent the itching. Calomine lotion ( and you can get cream too) just sooths it apparently.
sorry not much help. Hope they start to get better soon. It was being stuck in that drove me crazy!

It may sound strange but Sea water is very good for skin conditions including chicken pox, trouble is it's not the most obvious place to take a sick child. Especially at this time of year

When my youngest, ben, had chicken pox a few months ago the doc recommending using something like priton to help with the itching, never tried it cos he wasnt really bothered about them but might be worth trying.
calamine lotion and bathing in poridge oats not soap (porridge oats in a foot of a pair of tights, use as a sponge) works a treat!!

thankyou all for all your suggestions i am glad to say dominic is now 100 percent better his cp have scabbed and he is back at nursery tomorrow thank god as he is driving me mad lol
awwwwwww glad hes feeling better hun xx
