Baby Modelling........
Hiya Everyone!
Just wondered if anyone has put their baby in for child modelling before, as I am considering it? I realise that EVERY Mum thinks that their baby is beautiful, but I am constantly being stopped in town at the supermarket etc...with strangers telling me how gorjus my son is!! God I sound like a big head...sorry!! Ive looked into a few companies but would welcome recommendations...thanks x

I totally agree with bunnigirl, but if they are asking for money its a con,
i looked into baby modelling and there is one company i cant remember the name but they are scams they take money from you and never get you any work and just keep taking money from you i think i asked about them on here before as i was thinking of joining for izzy and quite a few people said they were fakes.
i looked into baby modelling through recommended sites and most of the agencies are based in london and prefer you to be within an hour of london
anything u google is more than likely to be a con lol

I looked at this when Jas was small. They all seemed like a good idea until you realised that either (a) you had to pay them to go on their books - why would you need to do that or (b) you had to have a professional set of photos done by a photographer they recommend to make up a portfolio (kick-back anyone?). I decided against it but have heard of lots of people who did pay money and got nothing at all in return

the best way to get onto a modelling agency is to take some really nice shots of them either yourself or at a prefessional local to you (generally family photographers) and send them to the likes of pampers, huggies, mothercare and gap kids they are always looking for models and prefer the natural look do all the leg work yourself. If they think the child is worth it they wont care who the manager is. Thats how i do it anyway.
Also entering comps with baby catalogues is a great way to break in and you can use an advertising shoots paid for by the company to put in your portfolio
