My doctor apt. is next week on the 30th. Just in case (

I hope so) what food should I be avoiding for sure?

If you are pregnant you should stay away from certain types of fish/seafood that have a high mercury level in them... and you
should be eating lots of leafy greens with folic acids...
Good luck with the appointment hun and just remember, you are very young so if it turns out that you aren't pregnant then you will have plenty of opportunities in the future

soft cheese, such as brie and camenbert
dont forget unpasterised milk and cheese like blue stilton etc
some people also advise to not eat nuts as apparently it can cause nut allergies (not quite sure how that works as wouldnt not being exposed to them cause allergies?)
Thanks guys!

I also heard that you shouldn't eat Red M&M's. There's something in the dye I guess?

Erm never heard of that one! But I'm not a fan of M&Ms anyway. I was pretty good at avoiding the 'bad' foods with my first, but with my second I was more relaxed. I totally ignored the advice not to eat whippy icecream from the ice cream van and to avoid nuts

If you are an asthmatic or suffer from allergies nuts should be avoided
Also Pate,i found this really hard as i love it
Hoep you are fingers crossed

Salami, uncooked seafood, ie smoked salmon, shellfish etc, soft cheeses, pre packaged salads, sandwiches etc
Iam also more relaxed than I was with my first pregnancy. Be careful when buying from the supermarket as you dont know how long things have been sitting. Just a huge precaution I guess like all things in pregnancy!.
You should probably watch peanuts too. My son is allergic and I ate them all through my first preg, not knowing any better.
