I am mortified!!

Celia (Kristen's 11 yr old) asked me a little while ago if she could look at one of her friend's myspace pages... so, I asked her if it was a boy or girl, how old, does she go to school with her, is she in your class??? so, after her answering all those questions I told her she could and asked her what her friend's username was.... it is "sexylexie" she responds wtf???? The girl is 11 years old, just out of 5th grade, why does she need her user name to be that???? I asked Celia if this girl's mom knows she has a myspace and Celia said that the friend's mom helped her make it

Ok, is it just me or is it so totally inappropriate for an 11 year to have the word sexy before her name for her myspace name???

Mind you, Celia and Isabelle keep asking Kristen if they can have myspace pages and Kristen tells them NO!!!

im as shocked as you are. id go balistic if i found jami used a name like that. some ppl want their kids to grow up way too quickly

I was very curious to see what content she had on her page but we couldn't find it because there are lots of sexylexies....

To me this mother (if she really knows about the page) is setting her daughter up for some weirdo to seek her out, maybe without really realizing it (there are alot of uneducated parents in this area ) but you would think any parent probably wouldn't think that was appropriate for an 11 year old.

A little while ago I found out she had lied about her age to get on a site for over 16's - it was a completely harmless site but had chat room attached to it and I let her know in no uncertain terms that I was less than impressed with what she did!!!!!

I went in an completely disabled all the settings on the puter and she is now set up with her own profile so she's not able to do that sort of thing anymore!!!

Omg!!!!Always banging on about kids and chatrooms etc on the news etc and pedos this is just leading her into that stuff.

As for finding her Tam, think on the search you can look within 10 miles etc of your postal area? Worth a try hun.

I'm glad you brought this back up... I was just talking to Kristen (my friend, who's daughter is the friend of the 11 yr old girl) about this the other day, she said that it's not her user anymore and her mother was not aware and when she discovered it she made her change her user name... so I feel a bit better about it, but I think the mom should have been monitoring her daughter's page a little more closely and she wouldn't have been able to make that her user name, ever!

I just don't think the word sexy should be associated with an 11 year old in any way at all!!
