Please help! 7 days late!

I was with my previous partner for 8 years. At the start of that relationship I was on the contraceptive pill (Celeste) and then I started forgetting pills and ended up coming off the pill and not using anything. I never fell pregnant and have never had tests so am not sure whether one of us had a problem or we were just lucky I didn’t fall pregnant.
Anyway, we split up in December last year and I have since got with my current partner which has been about 5 months now. At the beginning of this relationship I thought it safer to start the pill again. I went back onto Cileste as this was the one I was on all those years back.
Throughout taking Cileste I was getting bad headaches so decided to finish my three month pack and go to the doctors to see about another pill. I finished my last pill on Saturday 10 May and came on my period on 12 May. I couldn’t then get into the doctors until the following Monday (2 days over my 7 day break). She put me on to Leostron 20 (I think it is) which I started that evening the 19th May. This is a 21 day pill. I was taking this but it had terrible side effects so much so my partner said I really need to throw them away as I was emotional, irritable and just a totally different person. I ended up stopping taking these 3 days before the end of the pack. That was last Thursday 5th June. I have been to my doctors and now have Evra Patch to start but cannot do so until I start my period. It is now Thursday 12th June and I haven’t come on. I did a Predictor pregnancy test today and it was negative but I have since heard that these are not always very good.
Can anyone tell by my dates etc as to what the problem could be here or advice on what I should do?

Alot of the pills gave me bad side affects too.
It takes quite a while for your body to get back to normal after taking the pill. Sometimes i even missed a period totally.
Give it alittle more time and try not to worry(easy said then done)
Take care

i would say that your body is still adjusting, give it time, if you are worried do another test and go back to the dr

Still no sign of period and 11 days overdue. Not sure what to do, I don't want to make too much of a deal of it and go to the docs but they can do a test to make sure can't they?
Any suggestions?

Hi guys, thanks for all your replies. Just to update you….I am still not on period. I went to my local family planning clinic where they did a test (On Call?) I think it was called and it was negative. The doctor there said to wait another week and they will do another test.
Really not sure what is going on! It is 2 weeks tomorrow that I am overdo!

Today I am 14 days (2 weeks late for my period). I have woken this morning with a feeling of ‘ovulating’. Not entirely sure whether it is or not it’s just a funny feeling.
Now I am confused! If I was ovulating I wouldn’t be pregnant but if I was pregnant do you get funny ‘ovulating’ feelings like this?
