Last night Aaralyn and I were talking about her not listening sometimes. I told her that she's always going to have a choice to do the right thing or the wrong thing and that she has to think about that before she makes her choice and always try to do what she thinks is the right thing.

So, she tells me that it's not her that does the bad thing... ummmm, it's that the wind blows something into her head and makes her do things she's not supposed to do Shocked the wind huh!

She then said to that good and bad are going to be fighting in her head all her life Shocked I'm not sure if I should be worried about that or happy that she has such a "mature" perseption of things Suspect

I re-iterated to her that she will always be faced with good and bad choices so in that aspect, good and bad will be battling but it was up to her to decide what choice to make.....

Do any or your kids around or at that age ever get so deep??

I used to tell my daughter off for running down the stairs when she was about 5. I always said she'd end up falling or hurting herself. She was in the garden one day and the back door was a bit stiff so she got anxious that she couldn't get in the house. She started to call me and I rushed down from changing the beds upstairs, caught my little finger (with ring on) on the banister and ripped the ring into my finger which started to bleed like mad. I got to the door with a bleeding and swelling finger turning black to be asked by Jas what I had done. I told her I had run down from upstairs to her as she was calling and did this. She just put her hands on her hips and looked at me, rolled her eyes and said "you see what happens when you run downstairs mummy - you hurt yourself. You must walk down in future." What could I say? She was absolutely right and reiterating exactly what I had told her!!! I could have shot her though for her words of wisdom Halo Kids!! Very happy

Joseph is having a 'deep' phase at the moment. He wants to know all about the body, why you need blood, how it goes around your body, why does your heart beat??? how do you know if you are dead? Confused

Oh she told you didn't she LOL... that's so cute Smile

Alex I had to giggle at the "how do you know if you're dead" question... Aaralyn refers to being dead now as "when you turn to dust".... she also told me last night that she things we're all just living in one long movie Unsure the things they come up with, right!

Yesterday we went for a meal before coming home from holiday. Charlotte wanted to go play in the childrens area but she had only just finished her meal, and I had visions of her being sick. (also had just changed all of George's clothes because of a sick incident Wink ).

I told her to just sit quiet for 2 minutes to let her meal settle before running off to play. After about 30 seconds she was pleading with me to go play, so Martin asked her to count to 10 then she could go. She looked him in the face and just said '10'. Neutral

We were howling at the pure cheek lol. We had to let her go play Very happy Teeth
