Why do I worry???

With the heatwave we've been having Martha has gone to school with a hat and smothered in sun cream.
A letter came back last week asking that children wear a hat and have sunscreen and also that if they wear sandals that they cover the toes and heels. Now Martha has been wearing her birkinstock sandals with a buckle, and we're going shopping tonight for other sandals. I was worried about sending her to school for 2 days in these sandals!
This morning on the school walk I saw about 30 hats (her class size is 30 let alone the rest of the school) and flip flops with school uniform Don't know why I'm worrying

It's amazing sometimes how quickly we rush out to buy new things to comply with school policy but I guess not everyone can do that so it's not surprising to see things that aren't 'correct uniform' at times
