Holiday destinations and why?
Do you prefer self catering or all inclusive and why??
Your favourite........
Positano and Sorrento Amalfi coast Italy,We stayed in hotels both times. We had the option of staying in a fully contained appartment but it was a bit far out of the way (loads of stairs to get to the beach&shops). The hotel was beautiful, service was magic it was child friendly a bit pricy but well worth it.
For us inclusive was the way to go as it was our "major holiday"(we saved for 5 years) and we just wanted totall pampering all the way i didnt cook for four months lol.

Well we don't really go on holidays as such, more weekends breaks. I've not been abroad since I lived with my parents.
We have a 4 night holiday at Center Parcs in 2 weeks (WOOHOO
), we are cooking a couple of nights and eating out the rest. We will more than likely have breakfast and some lunch in the lodge made ourselves to keep the costs down.
We go away in our caravan a lot, our favourite places to go are Leyburn and Pickering in North Yorkshire, we once went to Canterbury when Charlotte was about 7 months old in a tent, which we loved. Obviously we cook in the 'van but may treat ourselves to a meal out if we are a bit flush lol.
It would be nice to maybe eventually go on a holiday where we don't have to cook and be looked after, maybe when the kids are a bit more grown up

Holidays are not just abroad but places you;ve enjoyed times away! N wver been to Centre Parcs but hear it is fab!
I love Leyburn and Pickering - we lived in Yorkshire for years so often have days out there - it is soo lovely!
jojo - i'd love to go to italy although DP doesn't seem as keen! We've never done all inclusive - but it's something we'd definatley consider....
I have soooo many favorate places, and soooo many more to discover, I can't pick a favorate.
I do like to go all inclusive if I do the Caribbean, it's so much easier that way, I like to not have to worry about keeping track of how much I'm spending and just have fun!
Hopefully this summer or fall I'll be making a trip to Costa Rica with Mike. He has friends/clients that have a resort called Dolce Lunas and it looks and sounds fab, can't wait to get there!! I have a feeling it will be a new favorate
