Ah i know what you mean about them being expensive! keep looking on ebay im sure you'll come across some bargains hun. iv still got mine from being pregnant with Chloe, only bought 2 pairs of casual trousers and a couple of tops from new, the rest of mine were ebay bargains. Very happy

Are there any NCT sales in your area? In my town there are 4 a year and another 4 in the next town over and I sold some of my maternity clothes there. They have to be good quality but obviously being second hand are not expensive.

Tell me about it. I went to Blooming Marvellous and bought a skirt but they don't have a large selection of stuff. I also tried Mothercare World and found eveything hideous in their coming out with just one pair of cheap jeans I wanted.

Like you, I don't want to spend a fortune and also looked on eBay but decided I would rather try it on having had some eBay disasters with clothing before. I don't know of any other shops that are around that may do maternity wear other than Next has a section in some of it's shops.

I work in IT sales so I have to have a suit at least to go out to meet clients in but have you seen those??? Mad Yuck!

NCT sounds like a good idea. I'll keep an eye out for some in my area but I'm getting to the 'need it now' stage rather than wanting to wait as I'm developing a much bigger tum instantly this time around Smile

we dont have a blooming marvelous round here - with ethan as it took ages for me to gain a bump i just raided primark and got trousers and tops in extra sizes lol! but this time im proper lookin humungous!! peacocks do a maternity range but its awful and grannified! theres also new look - which has some ok things but again, its a little pricey!! we need to have a trade section on here! for us to trade our unwanted maternity/baby clothes and other things - have our very own freecycle section!

I know how ya feel!!!I had to go out and get new clothes this time much earlier(summer was easier)i just got loads of leggins with longer tops as thats what was in fashion. Now its getting cooler and i have NOTHING and everything is sooo expensive.I just cant justify going out and spending over $160 on a pair of jeans im only going to wear for the next two months!!!!! I might just stick to the good old leggins boots and buy a few warmer tops. Suspect (or stay home in my DH tracky dacks lol.

littlewoods cat have some good stuff http://www.littlewoods.com/rf/navigation/spread...ategoryId=7077435 not to pricey but think if you got 2 bottoms and a skirt you could just buy cheap long t-shirts from primark,I also used those bump bands so I could ware my usual tops for longer,

hi, i'm 15 wks now and ive bought some stuff from new look and dorothy perkins, but luckily i had a 20% voucher off which made it cheaper and i get 10% of DP's as i work for NHS, anyhow the clothes are quite nice...lol i bought a bikini and had to buy massive size top for my bigger boobies haha!! cant wait, we just booked a cheapie holiday to majorca, weve had alot of stress with all my problems so think it will do both of us good, cant really afford it tho eeeeeek!! xx

peacocks maternity section is abit naff and only selected tesco stores do maternity - when i was preg with ethan i had my old friend drive me to every tesco in the whole of stoke - none of them did maternity! Embarassed

have a great holiday pip - we should of been goin majorca 27th may for a fortnight - we cancelled it tho as we need the money for baby - im sooo gutted but i suppose theres plenty more hoilidays to come in the future!

I've been Googling and found quite a few online maternity wear shops. I've also sent for a catalogue for one. They seem to vary in price quite a bit but I may try them out as their returns policies seem quite reasonable. I'm giving up hope of finding anything in the high street Sad Face
