I am a single parent. My son is 22 months and has picked up a few 'bad' words. How do I get him to stop?? I've been trying for a few weeks now and nothing seems to be working

I would ignore him and not engage in conversation about it, if he sees he is not getting a reaction he might stop it.

I get upset at my son for saying them... he also hits when he swears. It is really embarassing especially when he says them at daycare the workers aren't too impressed with that.

My DD started sating ba words - we just ignored her and they stopped but if that didnt work i just got ehr to say something else - like when she got frustrated once and said "for f*** sake" i just said "oh dear" and she repeated what i said and i just did this each time til she forgot what she was saying!
