Hi there, I don't really have any good advise but there are members here who may be able to help you with suggestions.

Good luck, I hope you are successful very soon!

i dont know what to say really a si dont know anyone in your age bracket who is trying for their 1st - i have a friend (pink-witch on here) who is late 30s and shes been trying for a baby for a number of years now with her husband (shes already got kids but only 1 with her husband). but her ovaries aint producing as they would of done if she was younger, shes had many tests and things and is now on a fertility drug called Clomid - from what shes told me (and im sure shel correct me if im wrong) she isnt always releasing an egg so this drug encourages her to not only release an egg - but quite a few!! hence the reason why theres a high chance of people on fertility drugs to have a multiple pregnancy.

have you got advice from the doctor? they will help you any way they can - especially if its gettin you down,as you being depressed certainly ownt help your little tadpoles! see what your doc says, you will probably both have tests to make sure shes not going thru the menopause or anything and that your both still producing enough - theres always ways around these things - so for now, make the most of the trying Naughty

I'm 42 and having my second, first at almost 33 so bit of an age gap. We didn't try for long this time but I did suffer a MC last year. Between that and this successful one was about 4 months.

I would suggest maybe getting an ovulation kit to ensure you know exactly the days that are best as it's really only a few per month when the time is right (sure you know this already so apologies if teaching my grandmother to suck eggs Very happy ).

It's also worth checking with your doc to see if they can do a few checks on you both if you want to go down that route. I know as us ladies get older we don't necessarily ovulate every month so you might be able to check that.

Wish you both luck Smile
