Stomach at 4 Wks???

Hi everyone, further to my last post i mentioned that i was 4 weeks pregnant according to when my last 'period' was. Well below is a picture of my stomach, it's very swollen compaired to normal. I am usually very flat between the hip bones. I feel huge! I didn't even know at this stage with chloe never the less have a slight 'bulge'lol. I can also feel the top of my uterus when stood ip and it seems quite high. I did have a period last month but it was very unusual for me. What do you all think, has anyone else felt like this at 4/5wks???

There is a slight bump there- quite high up as well

looks like you might be a little further along... maybe the period wasn't really a period... I had one of those at about 4 weeks so didn't know I was pregs until I was close to my 7th or 8th week

Well i was late, like 40 days since previous and it very light brown!! sorry TMI

Sounds like it could have been an implantation bleed making you further on than 4 weeks. When you see MW or GP tell them how your last period was (and that it was late) and I would think they would push through a dating scan for you.

Ah right ok thanks guys. i'll ring docs tomorrow to bookin with midwife at some point.

I agree with Alex that it sounds like a possible implantation bleed which tend to be more of a bloody/brown almost discharge like in appearance. It's exciting though- lots of people on the forum seem to be pregnant at the minute- lots of cute little babies on the way!

you will show alot sooner and you will feel baby alot sooner with it being a second pregnancy - i started getting bigger around the same time as you - and iv been feeling baby moving for almost 2 weeks now and im just going on for 13wks preg! at first i thort it was me being daft and after lots of searching the net and then a chat with the mw its pretty normal to show and feel ur preg alot earlier.make the most of it hun! i sure am!

I had a proper bump at 8 weeks hun, I was in my maternity clothes really early on.

Certainly sounds like you're a bit further on hon. I also had a brownish bleed for a couple of days with this little babe, nothing like a period though.

I have had a bump for a while now and was in my maternity jeans at 10 weeks (couldn't do the others up and an elastic band from the button hole to the button just isn't a good look )
