braxton hicks

oh my god, i think ive been having braxtons all day, never had them with my daughter. uncomfortable tightening of tummy, ive started swelling too, took my socks off and my legs looked like they'd been strangled lol

i dont think i ever had then - although from about 34 weeks i sufferered with severe back pain! then again,we went on hol when i was 38weeks and i had such pain in my tummy it was unbearable - i had to go bed! i thort that was the start of my labour!! we were camping on a army base (woodvale in southport) my only way of gettin to hospital would of been via air ambulance - they use the army base as its landing spot! haha!

I had them with Charlotte from 36 weeks...with George I had them from 17/18!!! The mw said not to worry but for a little while I was worried I was off into premature labour! Obviously not because he was late hehe!

From about 34 weeks with him I used to have a good hours worth of them after tea from 7 to about 8...freakishly I went into labour with him at 7pm

did u ever get period type pains too (not at same time as braxtons)

Hmm, only when I was in labour with Charlotte and about 2 weeks before I had George...sorry. Only other things I got was muscle pain mostly.

im getting every possible ailment with this pregnancy, i put it down to him being a boy lol..

Lol, George was a pain in the bum too! I said it was because he was a boy

i agree! boys are monkeys and always late!

Had none with first preg = boy. (aparently many women dont feel them in first preg)

felt many with second pregnancy.

Now on third pregnancy have been feeling them since 18 weeks preg.
I was havin 4-6 each hour from 11am til 4pm, so had a sleep they went but rang mw for piece of mind - and she said sound slike ive been over doing things - and to rest 24-48 hours.

With 2 lil boys - whats rest LMAO !!!
