I am thinking of giving this a go to try and lose some weight. I usually go to scottish slimmers but feel stuck in a rut with the eating plan so i thought it might be good for a change.

I`m not too sure about all the points that they go on about.

Have you tried it? does it work and can you explain it to this numpty? Embarassed

LOL I did it a few years ago and lost 2 stone, mum did it last year and lost 4 stone so it does work. Sadly I put it all on again and some!

You are weighed at your first class and your points worked out eg if you are 12 stone you might be allowed 22 points a day. You then deduct everything you eat from those 22 points. Say a mars bad has 4 points (don't quote me) that would be 22-4=18points left. Some things are point free like fruit, veg and diet drinks.

I found it easy to use as you could eat and drink what you liked as long as you deducted the points so if you fancied a massive cream cake you could have one. Wink

Hope this helps. xxx

I definatly recommend weightwatchers.
I have attended 3 classes and ive lost 6lb, as wkd said you can eat what ever you want as long as you dont go over your points. I get 23 points a day and im always left with at least 3 points a day what i save up for the weekend.

Give it a go you will be suprised how easy it is and how much you can eat. I was.

Good luck hun let us know if you attend xxxx

Just like to make one icle point for all those wanting to lose weight.

Aspartane is the sweetner found is sugar alternatives and diet drinks.

Research has shown (and i can vouch from personal experience) that this chemical actually makes it more difficult for your body to break down fat.

I used to drink bottles of diet pop and sweetner in my drinks and never did very well. When i cut it out the weight flew off.

Also too much aspartane gives really bad headaches and it has a load fo other less common side effects thtarent very nice.

I agree with Hipmomma with the diet drinks, I used to suffer terribly with acidy stomachs and headaches while I drank them on ww, until I switched to water. I found it helped with water retention and my skin was fantastic too. It also cost zilch LOL!

I'm thinking on having another go at ww myself as I have still got all the books but just following it myself as I'm a little skint at the mo and can't really afford to part with £5 a week but I'm struggling with motivation big style Sad Face

Good luck everyone xxx

the points are different for everything, and then some things arent in the book so you have to work them out with a points calculator. if you wanted to give me an idea of what you normally eat in a day i can tell you what sort of muber of points you are currently having and you could try to adjust accordingly but theres no way i could write out all the points for everything! x
