blood at 20weeks

hiya girls erm......
might get a bit detailed so i do apologise now.
iv just been for a wee and when i wiped then was blood on the tissue like when you blow your nose and you get a streak of blood. iv not got any pain or discomfort. my mum has said to leave it for now and just keep my eyes on it over the next 24hrs. iv got a sanitary towel on just incase. but i was wondering if i need to worried or if anyone else has had the same thing happen. thanks for any advise xxxxxx

sorry i didnt get any blood on kieran and kyle so i cant help but im sure everythin is fine. ppl are always sayin that they get blood right the way through some times.

I had that later in pregnancy and I had a urine infection.

I would give your MW a phone in the morning just to check, you mat need antibiotics

I had this in both mine, they never could pinpoint what caused it. Ring your mw just to be sure though hun Mine was obviously nothing as they were both overdue lol.

hiya guys i ended up at east surrey hospital last night they done a swob to check is everything ok but they didnt know whats going on coz iv got no other symptons of anything else need to ring them later for the results. blood got thicker and darker last night but seems to have eased off now. took them 10mins ti find babys heart beat so i was panicing but its there still. will let you know results of swob once i know xx

iv jus called the hospital and asked about results and am now being told that they wont have them for a couple of days aaaa so what am i suppose to do till then just keep bleeding? lol its great isnt it how helpful hospitals are.

i know its hard hunni just try and stay relaxed until you get your results - i had 2 bleeds with cara, one early and one late on, its very common to bleed in pregnancy and it can be a number of things

i had bleeding a few weeks back, i was 19 weeks. In my case it has turned out from my 20 wk scan that i have low lying placenta. I know this is only one of many reasons for bleeds in later pregnancy. Hope it has settled and everything is ok. I think as a rule if you arent in any pain it is unlikely to me anything to worry about. x x x

yea thats the only thing that has kept me going coz there is no pain. its been easing off now thoughout today but iv had alot of period like aches will hopefully get results tomorrow.

hi guys great news. at the mo the bleed has stopped since 11am yesterday but iv still not heard back from hospital for what could of coursed it. will ring later and let you know.

phoned hospital..... swob was clear and thats all they said they didnt ask if im still bleeding or offer a scan or anything so i still dont what caused the bleed but great news swob is clear and iv still had no more bleeding

Good news!! Glad that everything's ok hun!!

lol guess how useless my GPs and hospitals etc are. had my antenatal today and as i was informing her as to what has happened this week she was checking my urine sample and sighed according to that i have a very severe urine infection. shes sent that off and iv now gotta wait for those results so... it goes on lol i will get a straight answer. will let you all know lol xxxx just fed up now this could of all been solved at the hospital if they had bothered to check properly lol
