sickness and blood

Hey ladies.


Not doing so good today, was sick earlier and there was quite a bit of blood in it. Not been feeling good for weeks, but seeing blood in my sick has really scared me. I was signed off work for 2 weeks a wee while ago, with sickness and bad headaches. I thought maybe all this would stop after I got into the 2nd trimester!! Im now 15 weeks pregnant. Has anyone else had problems like this?

I have managed to get an emergency doc appt at 1.40pm so all I can do till then is sit here and worry (im at work ) any advice/comments welcome girls xxx

are you sure its blood hun? i remember phoning my mum crying as i was adament i was sicking up blood - she phoned the docs for me and got me an emergency appointment as i was too scared to - turned out the blood wasnt blood - it was just my stomach lining as id been sick that much! apparantly alot of people confuse the bile with blood!

im not sure, it happened a few weeks ago (but a lot less) and was told it might just be because i had an empty stomach. havent eaten anything today, just drank water, then i threw up. it was pretty red, and tasted metallic. really hope its just my stomach lining, and nothing wrong with baba

was sick again about half an hour ago, no blood this time thank god. sorry for the disgusting posts girls!!xx

hey! aye i had my appt, doctor says it looks like i tore a blood vessel in my thro at when i was throwing up (lovely!) james (my fiance) came running to the docs to be with me (he works near there) but she had a feel of my tummy and said my stomach seems fine, so it wasnt actual stomach blood, or it would have been all pinky mixed together.

phew!!! relief!!!
just thought id let u guys know. boy is this wee baba puttin me through hell!!! xx

Hi chick i was vomoting for 4 months solid when i was carrying Ellie it was awful and it wasnt just morning it was all day. I had what looked like blood in my sick but i was told it was stomach ling (unless its really obvious its blood) I found that if i managed to eat something it wasn't as bad but sometimes id would be gipping but nothing was coming up.

I know it feels like its never going to end but the first week that your not sick its fantastic and you forget been sick and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. At the end of the day if you are really concerend ask the midwife but from my experiance i think you will be ok. Take care

Hey, I had blood when I was being sick but I think that was where there was literally nothing left to come up. Hope its better now
