conjunctivitis

ethan seems to of woken up with what looks like the start of conjunctivitis in his right eye - its been red and a little puffy lookin yesterday then this morning it was a little gacky - i used to always suffer with it when i was little, iv bathed his eye in warm milk but does anyone know of anything else that will work? doc wont give me eye drops as he said theres no way id get em in his eye without causing him distress

Hayley when I had pink eye, the Dr gave me an ointment, you just put on the bottom rim of your eye... it might not be easy but if he does have conjuctivitis in can get really, really bad if not treated (I know, cuz I let mine get really, really bad)... I would not be satisfied with a Dr telling me that he won't give drops or ointment because it would be too much trouble.... won't be fun putting it on Ethan but he needs antibiotic drops/ointment if it's indeed conjuctivitis... do you trust your Dr alot, cuz that doesn't seem right for him to say that to you, in my opinion.

but i had it constantly as a kid - and the stuff never worked on me so my mum was advised to use warm milk - which worked a treat. but im gonna see how it is tomorrow as at the mo it aint that bad now iv bathed it - but if its any worse tomorrow im gonna take him docs again
