Worried about Aaralyn

Hey guys, I went to work today and left a sick Aaralyn home with Mike. She's running about a 101.5 fever and has not wanted to get out of bed at all today he said. This is very unusual for her, usually when she's sick I still can't get her to be still, she still runs around and plays all crazy like.

I'm not liking being here at work and not with her right now . The last time she was really sick like this and wanted to just sleep, sleep, sleep was when she ended up in the hospital for almost a week with pnemonia. I told Mike if she's still like this tonight then we are gonna take her to the Dr tomorrow to get her checked out, if we don't end up at ER tonight with her

aww hun have u given her some paracetamol?
If her temp shoots up to 103 then get her straight to the hospital - thomas' temp rose to 104 during the xmas hols and we couldnt get it down with paracetamol - the hospital gave him ibuprofen and paracetamol together tog et it down in the end!

yep, Gave her ibuprofin at 730 this morning and Mike just gave her some more at 1 oclock.. I have "piggy backed" the ibuprofin with acetophetomine with her before, giving her one of them every 8 hours and the other one every 8 hours, but with 4 hours in between if that made any sense?

She does tend to run high fevers that can be brought down with medicine but I'm not liking the fact that she's not wanting to do anything but lay down and sleep, it's just not like her at all

I got her an appointment for 4:45 today... wanna know the crazy thing? I got her in because my boss had an appointment for her son that she cancelled this morning... I'm glad her son is not needing the apointment, otherwise would have had to wait till tomorrow or take her to ER tonight. My boss has great things to say about the Dr's office BTW, I thought it was funny that she goes to the same Dr that I just started taking Aaralyn to.

When I talked to Mike a few minutes ago he told me Aaralyn was up and went poo poo and was asking for something to eat... so hope this means she's feeling better (the meds would have kicked in by now).

We're home, she's just got a virus, lungs look good, ears look good!! The Dr said all the coughing is from post nasal drip and if she's not getting on the mends by tomorrow then she'll put her on some antibiotics. The thing that had me so worried is her lethargy, when she is so not like that usually. She's come home and straight back in her bed under her blankets she went

this was a different Dr at the same practice that we went to before Rhode Island... I really liked her too so atleast I'm feeling happy with the whole Dr's office so far

my ben hasnt been well all weekend. wanted to go to nursery this morning but its really done him in.

Glad she is OK, hope she feels a bit better today, sometimes sleep is the best thing for poorly little ones.

Thanks, she's still home today... and me with her today as Mike had a meeting to go to. I'm kinda glad cuz I want to be with her today. She's still running a low fever even with meds so she may end up on antibiotics today. Poor girl is still just laying around sleeping I want ma baby runnin around driving me crazy again

Thank you guys, she's definately feeling better this evening, just not completely back to herself yet but hopefully by tomorrow.
