Hospitals!!! advice please!!!

Hello everybody!!!! I'm 12+4 weeks and tomorrow I'll be having my first scan at UCLH, so far so good...but I've been talking to friends that they had their babies atthis hospital..but I'm afraid I didn't get very good reviews.. especially the postpartum ward( not very caring, complications..etc) ...I'm concerned. I live in central London could someone please advise me where or what to do???

i'm sorry I'm not from your particular area so I can't comment on the hospital itself, but I did find when I was pregnant that everyone was too eager to tell me their horror stories, rather than telling me if they had a nice birth.

If you are still bothered, maybe see if the hospital do tours of the labour ward or even consider a homebirth?? Have a chat with your mw regarding your concerns.

Speak to your midwife, and ask to go on a tour of the hospital, speak to people who are in at the time (and not people you know) and see what they say
