Hi, I'm new in this forum. I'm an italian mum and i have 3 children: Giada, 9 years old, Erica, 6 years old, and Samuele, 3.
I'd like to make friends from other countries to exchange our experiences with children, to exchange advices of travel (I can give more advices for families with children who go to Rome: children's theatres, parks, gardens, kids libraries....),to tell us about our children.....

We have a few mums from around the globe- Australia, USA, Scotland (thats me) and England and now Italy Very happy Im sure you will make some good friends, and be able to exchange experiences of children and get some advice.

Sammie, where do you lived in Sicily? Sicily is very good place!!!! Hapydazy , our friends come every year in USA with children to learn english. They says the USA are beatiful and the american people are sociable and welcoming.

I'm a primary school teacher, but in this moment i stay at home, because unlucky i have a cardiac problem. This year i spend more time with my children, my loves!!! They are happy!!!

Ciao Claudia,my name is Jo,i live in Australia with my husband and son nearly 4 yo im also pregnant with our second child.
We actually spent a few months exploring all of Italy in 2006 and Rome was my favourite place.My son loved the Trevi fountain Very happy. My father was born in Italy and we spent some time with his family (x2 brothers)and i got to meet all of my cousins and make lots of friends it was the best.
I would love to chat to you i can understand Italian but i struggle a bit with spelling (we speak dialect from the south lol).

Australia must be a very wonderful place!!! Congratulation for your pregnancy: the children are the most loves of universe!!! I love Rome, too! Every weekend we go in there: our daugthers love children's library in Piazza Venezia, green theatre, Villa Borghese gardens, Auditorium........
Where is your father born? If you will go near Rome, in your next travel, you must go in our house with your family to dinner with us Very happy !!!!!
Now i must go!!! My little son wants his mummy!!!!!!!!!!

iv never been to italy but its somewhere me and my husband have both said we would like to go as we both LOVE italian food lol

I'm happy for your 2nd!!! I like babies!!!
The Italian food is great, but the english carrot cake is super delicious!!! We went in England last summer: we liked carrot cake!!! What's made the white cream on the carrot cake? Sorry for my english not very well Embarassed !!!

My father was born in Calabria in a little village called Plati. He travelled around Italy studied in Salerno then moved to Milan untill he was 17.He came to Australia and has never been back to Italy but he and my mum are coming next year for a month to visit dads family for the first time since he left.My husbands favourite place is piazza Venezia We spent alot of time there. My husbands family are from Benevento and Sicilly. My sister in law lives in Benevento.We cant wait to visit again hopefully in another two years. chat soon love Jo.xx

Good morning, everyone!!!!!!! I dont know what time it's in Australia or in USA, but in Italy it's 9 o'clock. My daughters went at school and my son sleep, because he has chickenpox Crying !!! Poor little boy!!!! I' m drinking a coffe and you???. What a terrible mess!!!!!Today i want tidy up my home!!! Hey Jo, your father is a very globe trotter!!!
Sammie, i have never been in Palermo. Do you will come back in Italy??? I go to start my homework!!
