Having only had Joseph I dont know what 2nd labours are like, other than my pal says they are all different. Im sure you will be fine hun and once you have baba it will all be forgotten about. Try talking to your MW if you want she might be able to settle your mind. xx

I had lots of pain with both my labours but with the second one I was just like "Bring it on". I felt like my time in labour went quicker because I knew how it was going to feel. I don't know what your contractions will feel like but mostly second labours are shorter if that's any comfort. What will be will be, I don't expect labour felt quite like any of us imagined it would. Good luck though, before you know it you'll be on here saying "I've had my baby" Baby

Oh dear, sending you a big hug Kiss

Both James and Gemma were born by caesarean and I didn't go into full labour with either of them, just the first stage and I didn't feel anything with James- MW told me from the reading on monitor! With Gem, I had very mild tightening across my back the night before but that went away by morning so I'm assuming she would have been an easy-ish labour too.

Have you thought about what, if any, pain relief you might prefer?
