Hi - just wanted to know from anyone who has experienced the above feels/felt irrationally worried and keeps expecting the worst?!

I have one healthy two year old who is a joy but suffered a miscarriage earlier this year and am now pregnant again - only 7 weeks!

hi hun congratulations on falling pregnant again. I had a miscarriage in sept/oct 2005 and in the dec i found out i was pregnant again and i have to admit i was very worried throughout the pregnancy especially in the later stages once i had passed what they call the safe period cos i couldnt give them blood tests as i was needle phobic and i finally did it at 36wk and gave birth at 39wk 3days.

i think it is natural to feel anxious after you lost a baby i was over careful wouldnt lift anything at all etc.

i wish you the best of luck and hope everything works out for you this time

Hi babes, hope you don't mind me intruding as I haven't suffered a miscarriage and cannot imagine what you went through.
But I hope with all my heart this pregnancy goes well, lots of love xx

I had one at 7 but when I got pregnant with our first I just had to rationalise it. As much as 1 in 3 pregnancies miscarry and if it happens once, there's no reason to think it should again. I had to think that way or I'd have gone mental!
