casey is gettin more n more of a temper on her, she wont do any thing i want her to do.

we used to use the corner but she started putting herself in there so it lost its affect, same with counting to 3.

so we did lil smacks, but its not something i like as i feel so bad doing it in public and she started to hit back so we were sending mixed signals.

She really played up today so ive got out naughty chair, she didnt like it but well see how long it lasts.

any one got any ideas?

How old is she could try and a reward chart and if she is naughty then take away the reward.

The naughty chair lost its effect with Cait to she just says sorry to get off and then does it again Teeth

Lol yea Cait knows the routine, say sorry kiss mummy then hug then go away and do it again grrrrrrr!!!!

I want to do the reward chart with cait but make it so then she knows its hers and she help made it, saves money and creative!

what about a jar with marbles in or similair. when shes good like helps get shoes and coat on etc and gets to the car without too much fuss she gets a marble in the jar. when the jars full she gets really good reward like trip out somewhere she loves or something. when shes bad a marble comes out. when i used to work in day nurserys it used to work quite well. Main thing is to stay consistant with it though. i.e. if a marbles taken away yesterday cos she hit out then same goes for today and vice versa for the good behavoir. Its easy in theory i know! some days just impossible in practice. I have 2 small boys and god only knows im not consistent! they make me feel like - Crazy most of the time!
