yes jodie as told me about this im going to pick some up 2mo
you could ideally do with somewhere other than her moses basket for night sleep - they cant distinguish day from night and if ur putting her to nap and then again to sleep in the same place she will begin to get confused between nap and sleep times - which when her routine kicks in may cause you more awkwardness.
try having the moses basket for downstairs only and then a cot or crib for upstairs.xx

thats good advice hayley i think i will try her in cot tonight wil let you know how it goes im starting to dred night times though

kieran was the same, the only time he would sleep in the night was if he was lyin on top of me lol when he would fall asleep i tried to put him in the basket but he would wake up and scream so he end up lyin on top of me every night lol hope u find ur way of gettin her to stay asleep

xxx
ps if u start puttin her into bed with u its good at first but if u want them to go into there own bed when there toddlers ive heard it can be a nightmare so thank god i heard that cus i put kieran in his own bed as soon as he turned one so now i dont have to worrie about all the screamin and stuff when they demand to sleep with u lol xx
i had this problem with nicole when she was a baby, used to have to crawl out of the bedroom so she didnt cry. She used to sleep in our bed too, which she still does occasionally now!! and shes 4 1/2!!!!! my hv said to try and put her upstairs in her basket as much as possible through the day!!

have you tried swaddling her at night?? i.e wrapping her up tight in a blanket and making sure her arms are crossed over her body and under the blanket?(hope that makes sense) It makes them feel cosy and secure and worked wonders with Joseph. I only EVER did it at bed time (part of the routine) and I found it did encourage him to sleep longer. I would also keep the moses basket for bed time and let her sleep in her pram through the day so she learns to associate the moses basket with bed and BIG sleeps. Or you have the basket for day time and the cot for night (but they look tiny in the cot at such a young age)

thanks everyone she went in her cot last night and she slept from midnight till 3 30am then after her bottle went till 7am whoooo had a great night sleep fingers crossed for tonight daddy swaddles her as im no good at it lol
I'm not going pretend to know the answer but I personally followed the Gina Ford contented baby book. It doens't work for everyone but It did for me and both my son's were sleeping the entire night by 8 weeks old. They were breast fed and very content. It's not for everyone though. Have a go.
Try puting her in her pram in the night then she will learn that the moses basket is were she sleeps at night
