its a company doing marketing research

basically on applying you get like this pda scanning machine thing thru the post which you plug into you phone line (there is no charge for this or monthly line bill or nothing) that looks like one of the scanners the shops use.

you also have a folder with each individual persons name in you household - a barcode next to each persons name.then theres a section with all the shops/supermarkets - with barcodes, and then theres a section for your grocery/butcher things (such as potatoes and other things that wouldnt have a barcode)

whoever has been shop - no matter how little or big of a shop - you get the folder, scan the name of the person whos been the shop, scan the shop youve been, it will then ask you the total amount spent - you type this in (its a touch screen thing) and then you scan the barcodes of each individual item you brort.

save up your weekly receipts and then send them off in the pre-paid envelopes once a week.

you pay absolutely nothing,it just takes abit of time and i must admit sometime i cant be bothered with farty things iv brort!

You are awarded points for your continued participation in the National Shopping Monitor. You can also earn points for helping us in all sorts of ways.

Every 1000 points you earn has a value of £1. These points are credited to your very own rewards account.
Full details of the points on offer are provided in your welcome pack.
Here are some of the ways you can earn your points:

*Points for each month served as a full panel member
*For sending in your till receipts
*Sign-Up bonuses
*Annual bonuses
*Christmas bonus
*For completing questionnaires
*Helping us with additional special research projects
*Helping us check your household details
*For winning various prize draws and competitions

you can then claim back your points in 10s - 10,000points = £10. its up to you how you have you reward - theres high street vouchers - experience/travel vouchers - entertainment vouchers or you can dedicate whatever you want to a charity.
if you want to claim your points - you dont have to claim them all, you can claim as much or as little as you want. so far i now have 73,250 points stored (£73.25p) but as i you can only withdraw in 10s i can only withdraw £70. HOPE YOUR UNDERSTANDING ME HERE!!!

you also get monthly magazones with wordsearches,a kids section for them to raw things and send em in (to win u more points!) and theres also the online stuff where you can do many things to get more points - its good really!!

im saving up my points to withdraw just before xmas, will help with food or pressies - you dont have to wait forever either - your vouchers come within days!

Yeah I got my email and it said points but it adds upto vouchers, I've set up my statement thing so I can total up all my points and get the vouchers.

I've not been asked to do reciepts just scan barcodes and send it through my computer via internet I assume Shrug I've had to install something to work my clicker anyway LOL.
