ABUSIVE PARTNERS

My daughter is in an abusive relationship with a man she has been with for 8 years. Leah, the most precious and gorgious little girl was born 7 months ago. The physical abuse which was major before and during her pregnancy has now reduced to the odd push and tap on the back of the head but the verbal abuse is a daily occurance. The boyfriend stirs my daughter up and when she reacts, he phones his dad to come over. I have just witnessed the occurance. Dad rushes over and totally takes sons side. Boyfriend twists and turns the situation into making my daughter look the culprit. I am at my wits end. He is 30 years old. I called a meeting with the parents and have just seen for myself how one sided and narrow minded they are. .... advise please

My sister was in an abusive relation for years, and no matter what people said to her or tired to help her, until she realised herself that she could do better there really is nothing you can do to help, lets hope she will wake up one day and think what the hell amd i doing, fingers crossed hun that she does sooner rather than later

hi, ive been in an abusive relstionship myself and my parents must have felt the same as u do. myself now reaslises they were tryin to help, but then when it was all happeneing it felt like they were tryin to interfer, so really my advise is to just be there 4 her. its hard very hard, but hopefully in time she will have the power to leave him.

im just going to be blun. yr daughter needs to get out of this relationship and now if not for herself then she must do it for her daughter.
