I can't ignore it anymore..
..I've put 1/2 stone on in 2 months and I now weight 12.7!
My trousers are tight my belly is hanging over them too
I'm starting my diet. I'm going to do Weight-watchers but I'm using the books I used when I did it a few years ago as I can't afford to pay for the weekly weigh-in
I'm going to need you all to keep me going, I'm notorious for starting and doing really well on the first week and then losing interest!
I can't afford to go to the gym so I will be walking the kids to and from their grandparents instead of using the car (will save on petrol too). I will try to go swimming as there's a good pool in Bramley and I've been about twice, the kids will love it too!
I'm off to count up my points and I may do a daily 'menu' of what I've eaten and how many points each meal is

and post them on here??
Wish me luck! x
Right back already lol!
I am allowed 22 points per day and I aim to lose 21lbs

to get me to 11 stones. I will weigh my self once a week - since I'm starting tomorrow - each Thursday and I'll post my weight

i know the fealing if put on a stone and a half, just over a year i have a job sticking to diets im guna try to do the cerial one. i have a holiday next month and my stomach needs to go aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh
good luck hunni! you can do it! 22 points a day is really do-able if you use them wisely!
You need any support we are here, I have been doing weightwatchers on and off for over 4 years now so im a wizz at getting the most from my points!
not that i seem to be sticking at it at the moment, but thats not the point lol
if youve got a fitness first near you they are cheao enough! you can either pay £14.99/month and £1 each visit or pay £24.99/month (the tariff im on) and nothing each time u go! its the cheapest and nicest gym iv found after trialling all the gyms in stoke-on-trent lol!
Hello everyone! Thanks for all your encouragement it is helping me already!

Right decided this will be the last menu as I'm sure you don't need to know exactly what I've eaten hehe, but I will post any updates and a weekly weigh-in!
I must admit it's hard work weighing everything out but I'm sure I'll get the knack of it eventually.
Bearing in mind I've had to give up 2 points today (because of yesterday), I think I've eaten loads today
Breakfast:
1 slice of toast (crust) with spread - 2 points
snack:
Banana - 1.5 points
Dinner:
6 slices of melba toast with prepack wafer thin ham and tomatoes, light mini babybell - 2.5 points
snack:
Muller light strawberry yogurt and an apple - 2 points
Tea:
Smoked haddock fillet with peas, new potatoes, gravy and a little spread on potatoes and peas - 10 points
I'm going to save the last 2 points for another cup of nice warm milk!

I dont follow the point system- too hard for me and your fruit counts as a point. I do slimming world where all fruit and veg is veg and you choose either a green day (free pasta, beans, pulses, potatoes, rice, noodles, eggs and you weigh your protein) or an original day (free lean meat and eggs and you weight starchy foods (ie. foods free on a green day!) I love it and when I stick with it it works really well
Oh I'm so ashamed with myself today

I've eaten total crap, not stuck to my points at all. It started well but missed lunch and had a bag of crisps and a chocolate bar, then had the biggest Sunday Dinner ever, then had a chocolate lolly and another bag of crisps and a muller crunch corner, thing is, I've realised this is because this is quite normal for me, how I'm not the size of a house I don't know
This isn't good so soon into my diet, I'm supposed to be going out for a meal next Saturday too so I need to save points next week. I'm going to make some no points soup - freeze it and have it for my lunch next week.
I'm sooo peed off at myself

Hey hun, it would be quite hard to follow the points system unless you have a book detailing foods and how many points are in them, I got mine from when I used to go to weight watchers, I've just held onto it. The total amount of points you are allowed each day depends on your weight, the heavier you are, the more points you have. As you lose weight and fall into another a lower category you have to reduce your points accordingly, so you keep losing weight.
I've heard that Slimming world is just as good, and cheaper. I think going to the meetings do help and give you more of a kick up the bum to do well, unfortunately money is so tight for us at the moment I just can't afford it.
Good luck hun, just eating better will make a difference. x
Hi everyone, today was weigh day and I'm well chuffed - I've lost 4lbs

Weighed myself again, quite shocked, didn't think I would have lost anything this week - but - I've lost another 2 lbs this week so I'm 12 stone 1lb now, if I lose the extra 1lb next week I will have start using 20 points a day instead.
Thats really well done hunni!
Congratulations, keep up the good work!!
