Fell down the stairs!

This morning I had the fright of my life when Mia decided to try take her little push a long trolley that she got with her toy kitchen downstairs! I told her the other day she isnt aloowed to take her toys down and she should ask me if she wants anything downstairs, she is very capable of getting up and down the stairs on her own so I have no worries about her on the stairs!

However today she got the shock of her life when she decided she would take her toys down alone! she fell, I think it was only from halfway but she screamed the house down! She seems alright now but I think she has learnt her lesson (well I hope so)

My heart jumped out of my throat, I just didnt know what to do, but I think she is ok just a bruise and little bump on her forehead!

I feel so responsible for what happened and I cant stop blaming myself for it! My poor baby!

oh bless her little heart ! its not u'r fault though hun, u cant watch them every second as hard as we try . accidents happen and i'm sure the sairs are the most common form of accident. its really not u'r fault and i dont think she will go near the stairs again in a hurry, bless her. i suspect the screams were shock more than anything else. hope shes ok hunnie

thanks for that hunnie! yer she is doing just fine now and is back to walking up and down the stairs! little monkey that she is hehe! I dont think she will be trying to take toys up and down them in a hurry though!

Abigail is fine up and down stairs now too, although the number of times i've just stoped accidents is scary, with them either playing or fighting on the stiars, or like you say trying to brings toys, blankets up and down stiars

awww, hun don't blame yourself, she's ok now and that's what's important... You know that I know all to well how quickly things can happen (remember Aaralyn's hands from the grill!) Give Mia a big hug from us and take one for yourself too!!

Aw hun I'm sure she was crying more out of shock than anything. Charlotte has fallen down stairs, she is just so clumsy! She is so busy watching someone else and not herself or bringing the dreaded toys down the stairs...as much as you tell them not to

George has now learned to climb down the stairs as well as up, as well as learning to walk...the days where we could leave them in one place and come back and still find them there!?

oh god, my danni feel top to bottom jsut before a big family party... she had a massive bruise and i felt sooooooooooooooooooo guilty.

think most kids fall down the stairs even if its just a few bless her liam once fell right from the top to bottom onto lamianate flooring its awful i still have stair gates at the top and bottom of my stairs
