Hi my LO is 7 months old now and finding it difficult not to know what to give him to eat.
I do give him butternut quash and sweet patatoe for dinner. I still not given him meat with his food.
Oh yeah I got like baby pasta from boots and not sure what sauces he can have. Does anyone know what he can have?
What can he have for sandwiches fillings?

he can eat absolutely anything hun.my son has been eating everything we have since he went onto solids (at about 5mnths).i started off with carrot purre,or potatoe,or anything really, then once his tastebuds got used to that one taste,i added more ingrediants.from about 7months he just ate whatever we did,and the older he got,the less i mushed it up! the best way to prevent a fussy kid is to start them off as early as u can, delaying there taste-buds will turn em into a fussy eater.i think the only thing Ethan wont eat is peas, and i think the only reason for this is beacause they roll around n fall outta his mouth!

only thing you are advised not to give him is eggs. I used to keep little bits from my tea and mash them up the next night for Joseph. He struggled with mince until he was 1,so I liquidised that but other than that he got EVERYTHING!!!!

No salt or hunny untill they are over one and I would maybe stay away from chilli for a bit! Some of Millie's favourites for pasta are four cheese sauce which I make by melting some cream cheese, mozzerella, parmesan and cheader with a bit of milk, and tomatoe and red pepper (soften some garlic and chopped pepper add a jar of passata and simmer for about fifteen minutes and then blend untill smooth). The tomatoe and pepper one freezes really well too.

Something both mine seemed to like was pasta in bolognase sauce. I just made my own sauce with chopped tinned tomatoes, a pinch of mixed herbs and a bit of puree to thicken the sauce. As they got older I made full blown bolognaise with mince, onions,, mushrooms, peppers and courgette. Loads of veg hehe!

Also grate a bit of cheese on top!!
