Aaralyn started school today!

I ended up taking Aaralyn to school and just paying the full tuition for now. When we first got there she kept saying, "mommy, I want you to just stay here with me today" I told her she was gonna have a great time and I had to go to work... well, she has this thing of wishing on an eyelash right now (wish then blow it away, don't know if you all have ever heard of that one LOL ) anyway, she asked me if she had an eyelash stuck on her cheeck or anywhere so she could wish on it ... I told her she could make a wish even with out it, so I was expecting her to say that she wishes I would stay with her at school... well, instead she wished that I had a good day at work and she had a good day at school ... so here I am worrying about her crying and being upset and instead her sweet little words made me start crying. Of course I didn't want her to know I was crying so the teacher distracted her while I pulled myself together

I called on my break today and they said she cried for about a minute after I left and then she was all smiles the rest of the day. When I went to pick her up she said she didn't want to go yet LOL. She loved it, loved the new friends she met... loved the teachers... she told me all the girls were pretty and all the boys were handsome LOL. On the way home she kept saying she couldn't wait till morning to get here so she could go back to school again

So, she's back in school, already well adjusted and I'm loving my new job (even if it is boring training right now... there is alot to learn!! )

I'm afraid I'll cry next week too. Summer only goes half a day for the first term but I'm really feeling sad,although she's excited. I hope you enjoy your new job hapydazy

ahh bless now all we need is my little man to want to go back he hated it before at nursery and he only has until jan now bfore he goes full time i am dreading if he wont want to go there cos he scream and i mean screams

It may take your son a few days to adjust but I bet he'll love it once he's made some new friends
