Met my midwife

She was really nice too , i have to get my 1st bloods done thurs 30th too and when i get my 1st scan on 19th sept i also have to see a thyroide specialist as i have an under active thyroide and am on medication, didnt know i had to do all that as my doc didnt mention anything about it,infact my docs didnt even write it on the midwifes notes LOL typical. but all went well all seems real now i have my preg pack LOL

Hi Hayley. I have an underactive thyroid too and it wasnt mentioned on my notes either!!! I ended up having a lovely pregnancy and just had to see the thyroid specialist every month and have the baby at a general rather than midwife led hospital (their reassurance I think!!)
The only problem I had was after I had DD and my thyroid levels hit rock bottom, so request a thyroid check about a week after you have baby. My DD thyriod was fine too (something I was really worried about cause my Thyroxine dose was, and still is 300mcgs!)

Thank you hun Smile eased my mind i was worrying about it but im sure it will all be fine i am only on a small dose thyroxine too 50 mcg so hopefully it shouldnt effect baby Smile thank you again hun Smile
