sorry for TMI...

but i think i have thrush! iv never had it before but im dead itchy burny feeling down there and i just want shuv something sharp up there n scratch -iv been like this since yesterday,n i think im gonna pop the docs 2mro!

we have been madly TTC#2 an iv herd it could b down to sex or even pregnancy - although i never had thrush with DS!

advice please

I had it really bad at the beginning of my pregnancy hun..... maybe you are!! fingers crossed that the itchies go away and that maybe you are preggies too!!

iv never had it before either! but im damp sure after googling my symptoms that its thrush! another thing now tho is lastnight and all today iv had the worse heartburn ever - which i had all thru my preg with DS!! i dont wanna get my hopes up tho incase its just coincidental how iv got hertburn and thrush.

how soon can a test tell u if ur preggers? i should be due next week but im dying to know now if i am or not to just get it out my mind!

My ex got thrush (well he didn't know thats what is was) and went to GP who said I would have to be treated as well and he said but she hasn't complained of any problems and he said do a test! so I didn't and 9mths later I had Joseph. I then developed it a few months later and now when ever I am on strong antibiotics I get it now .

Personally I wouldnt go to the GP- I would just go to the chemist and get some cream or the duo (cream and tablet) (but mention you might be pregnant and they will advise as I only got the cream when I was pregnant)

yeh iv looked it up about DP gettin it as iv heard its bad for men! but from everything iv read men cant just get it,they can only get it from the woman.so i know he aint got it - but now could have from me!! i just dont want him being in pain from it as for me its just uncomfortable,but from everything iv read,basically its like a man covered in blisters! oops!!

my ex was in a lot of pain. The reason he had it and I didnt and doc suggested I did a test was becuase in some cases a womens body can become hostile to foreign bodies!!! lol. and it was my way of saying go away!!! it is easily cleared up in both of you if it is thrush

haha! ur lady bits way of saying it doesnt want his man bits near lol! as if our 'down belows' have temper tantrums too! lol!!

If you've been at it like bunnies that could be why. When I was first with my hubby I got it a few times because we were having so much sex (no such problem now )

I got it for the 1st time when i was preg with my son and boy i could have ripped me bits off awful it was, but i went to the chemist and they gave me canastan did the trick and stopped the itchin. because i was preg i could only have the external cream took lil longer to clear it but i was releived lol
