Cheapish foreign jewellery

Has anyone bought any jewellery off Ebay before?

I've just found this seller on Ebay who sells some quite pretty looking rings for ridiculously cheap prices. They're shipped from Hong Kong and claim to be the genuine thing (ie 925 silver with real opals set in them), but they're all around £3/£4!!. Obviously I was extremely sceptical at first. I um'd and ah'd for a bit then decided what the hell it's cheap, so I've bidded on one anyway!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem...amp;rd=1&rd=1

Works out at about £10 including postage from Hong Kong.

Their feedback seems to be mostly good - a couple of people complained of the stones not being genuine but most have left great feedback.

I just wondered whether anyone else had bought any cheap jewellery like this before and whether it was a total waste of money??

Anyway hopefully I will "win" that auction and I will let you know whether it was worth it or not!

That is a beautiful ring.
I have bought jewelry from Hong Kong on eBay in the past. The ring I got was real and the seller (not the same one on your link) was a good ebayer.

I hope you win.

Well two weeks is not that long to wait for delivery. I never worry unless it says 60 days or 90 days.

Very happy lol I know, I'm just being impatient! The last couple of things I've ordered off Ebay have arrived within a couple of days of paying, so I've just got used to it. I really hope it doesn't turn out to be cheap and nasty looking in real life, haha!
