Well here we go everyone, the last week of the holidays. For some of us this will bring a great sense of relief after a long hard slog with the kids at home. For others there will no doubt be some tears and sadness as we pack our little bundles off to school(perhaps for the first time). I myself am one of the latter with my oldest starting Primary school next tuesday, which will also be my birthday so how old am I going to feel that day!
Just wanted to send some support and good wishes to all of you and your children for the exciting Smile and the scary Shocked things to come.

Charlotte isn't actually starting until the 10th, got a letter at the weekend to say they are home visiting the new intakes so they start a week later than the rest of school! I'm actually still waiting for the home visit I was supposed to get LOL! Wink

Charlotte wasn't to impressed when I told her school was going to open but she has to wait a while longer while the teachers did a special job.

Well tomorrow's the big day for many of us, I have seriously been feeling really tearful over the entire weekend which is so unlike me Crying But tonight I'm actually feeling abit better, maybe excited for DD now. I've got her uniform out all ready and have put DS some clothes ready for the morning too so we can get ready quickly. It'll be weird getting back into a routine again first thing in the morning Sleep

So did they all survive? Summer was so happy and just got straight in there. Luckily about a third of her class are from her playgroup so that must have made the transition easy for her. When we got there it turns out that a little boy from our road is in her class too. Hubby took some pictures this morning so I'll get him to load them up onto the computer later or tomorrow
