Please help me!

I have a very bored garden-loving bubba who is going a little mad because of all the rain - there's nothing to do in my house!!! All her fun toys are in the garden!

She's too little to pay much attention to paints, but does draw and colour in a little. We play chasing games a good bit, but this is a bit tiring now! (my bump has just grown, big time!!!) I do read to her, but again , this only lasts so long. There's only so much telly a sane woman can tolerate, and her buggy is making tracks in the carpet...

Help! Ideas needed pleeeeease

Maybe see if she will do 'outdoor' activities but indoors, things like a Teddy bears picnic, find a green sheet and pretend it is grass, see if she will pretend she is outside?

We used to put a clothes airer up the living room and put an old throw over it for Charlotte and she would pretend she was in a tent and take her dolls etc in there and sit happily for hours.

Also something she does now, sits in one of the laundry baskets and pretends she is in a boat!

Finger paints are brilliant at this age Smile How about practicing with some stick glue and glue paper, packaging together??

Nursery rhymes, dancing to music (may her more than you if feeling really tired), shape sorters, beginners puzzles - the list really is endless. Even chopping up fruit and make a fruit salad (some may end up in her mouth first though Smile

Good luck and hope the rain eases off for you
