I totally did my head in before
DS was born over which pram/buggy to buy - they are all so expensive and it's so hard to know which features will be the ones which turn out to be good for you.
In the end I got a Bebecar Vector and it's been fantastic so far. I didn't bother getting the carrycot top because the pushchair pretty much converts into a pram when you put the back fully down.
DS sleeps really well in it and it's nice to push. Plus the car seat fits on the wheels too which has turned out to be pretty useful - I usually do this if I'm going on the bus for example cos it makes it smaller.
The other really good thing is the whole thing can face either way - it was the only one I saw which would do this as well as let the baby lie completely flat after the tiny baby stage.
The only disadvantage really is it's quite big and bulky and there's no way I could take it on the Tube on my own because of all the steps - it's fine on buses though.
When I can afford it I think I'll get a Maclaren buggy to use on occasions like Tube journeys but I'll carry on with the Bebecar for journeys on foot and to places where I really need
DS to be able to sleep in it
